Manchester Christmas Markets

In December, we completed the first part of our annual contribution to Manchester’s hugely successful Christmas Markets. While the city sleeps, the council’s Speciality Markets team set up dozens of wooden chalets in several city centre locations using our “Just In Time” delivery service.
The markets play host to traders from across Europe and attract hundreds of thousands of visitors to the city.
At the end of December we complete the operation in reverse and return the city’s streets back to everyday business.

Manchester United’s recent away win against Roma meant that urgent work was needed to prepare for the return leg at Old Trafford.
Nortons were asked to help the Champions by moving the club’s television control centre immediately outside the ground so that all the necessary cabling and communication could be set up.
Gary Reeve arrived early in the morning and the job was done before the thousands of daily visitors reached the ground.
